DayQuest (formerly Mariana Planner) is an academic and personal planning app, operated by Elkin Jimenez. This page explains what information we collect, what we use it for, and who we (don't) share it with. You can reach us anytime at elkinjimenezb@gmail.com.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: name, email address, and password (stored encrypted, never in plain text).
• Your phone number, if you choose to enter it, so we can send you SMS reminders.
• Your Telegram chat identifier, if you link that app, so we can send you reminders there.
• Your Google Calendar events, if you connect your account. We request full read and write access to your calendars (scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar) — we use it to show you your events, calculate reminders, and create/edit the study blocks you schedule from the app.
• The tasks, courses, academic activities, study content, and flashcards you enter yourself within the app.

2. What we use your information for

• Showing you your calendar, tasks, academic activities, and study content within the app.
• Sending you reminders about upcoming events and study blocks, by SMS, Telegram, or in-app, based on your preference.
• Generating summaries and study suggestions, using artificial intelligence (Claude, by Anthropic) on your own data.
• Keeping your account secure and working properly.

3. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your information. We use these providers only as technical infrastructure to operate the service, under their own privacy and security policies, and we only send each of them the data it needs to do its job:

• Google — to read and write your calendar, if you connect your account.
• Twilio — to send text messages (SMS).
• Telegram — to send messages through that platform, if you link it.
• Anthropic (Claude) — to generate AI study summaries and suggestions, using your tasks and content.
• Hostinger — as the hosting provider where the application and its database live.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and its data at any time from "Profile" inside the app, or by emailing us at elkinjimenezb@gmail.com.

5. Revoking access to your Google Calendar

You can revoke DayQuest's access to your Google account at any time, from your Google account permissions page.

6. Use of Google data

DayQuest's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
